THE ROBERT AND NORMA PUDDESTER NUMISMATIC FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED IN 2002 as a Canadian private registered charity under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (Corporation number 385090-1) and is registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (www.cra.gc.ca/charities).
The Foundation aspires to initiate, support and encourage interest in, and research on, numismatics and commemorative and historical medals primarily, but not exclusively, relating to Canadian and British Indian history and will focus on areas of numismatics and commemorative and historical medals that have been neglected to date. Canadian and British Indian medal research is in its infancy and there has been little research or publication on these subjects.
The Foundation hopes to become a force in the numismatic and medal field with the encouragement of investigation into our cultural past from the point of view of our medallic history.
